In an extraordinary night marking her return to live performances after a six-year absence, global superstar Celine Dion dazzled during the first concert of her comeback at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, west of the French capital, Paris.
Celine received a warm and emotional welcome from the audience and could not hold back her tears as soon as she stepped onto the stage and saw the crowd celebrating her return after all these years.

Speaking to the thousands of fans in attendance, Celine said, “It is wonderful to be all together again. I made a promise to come back and stand on stage once more. Here I am, singing for you and singing for myself. Thank you so much for your support and patience. I am who I am today because of your love for me.”
During the concert, the Canadian superstar performed a number of her most iconic hits, including “On ne change pas,” “Pour que tu m’aimes encore,” “J’irai où tu iras,” “S’il suffisait d’aimer,” “My Heart Will Go On,” and “All By Myself.”

Celine Dion is set to perform 26 concerts, with the first taking place yesterday and the current run continuing through October 17, 2026. She will then resume her concert series from May 8 through May 29, 2027.
Celine Dion’s return to her fans comes after she revealed in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder known as stiff-person syndrome. She gradually improved and eventually returned to her normal life.
Celine Dion Stuns in Black: Iconic Looks by Dior, Schiaparelli, Alaïa, and Tom Ford

Celine Dion made black the defining color of her look on the opening night of her concert, choosing a shade that reflected luxury, sophistication, strength, and resilience as she made her highly anticipated return.
For her first appearance on stage, Celine Dion wore an elegant black gown by Dior. The strapless design featured sculpted horizontal pleats in luminous pleated fabric, with a dramatic silhouette and irregular graduated layers at the waist, before falling into a straight-cut skirt crafted from sheer matte pleated fabric with vertical pleats.
She completed the look with exquisite jewelry, including a necklace adorned with a diamond pendant by Boucheron. She wore her hair in an elegant updo and finished the look with earthy-toned makeup.

Celine later stepped out in another look by Alaïa, wearing a strapless gown with a sculptural, dramatic design that accentuated her figure. The lower half featured a black velvet mermaid skirt that fell softly and fluidly, paired with oversized silver bracelets.

In another captivating look, Celine dazzled in a contemporary suit by Schiaparelli. It featured a velvet jacket with long sleeves, fully embroidered with metallic gold threads and shimmering gold and silver beads. The intricate embroidery cascaded elegantly over the upper portion of the trousers, which featured a classic straight-leg silhouette.

Blending boldness with elegance, the Canadian superstar opted for a refined Tom Ford design by Haider Ackermann. Crafted from black crepe jersey, the look was entirely embellished with shimmering silver crystal beads.
The design featured long sleeves on the upper portion, while one side was finished with voluminous, billowing sleeves accented by dramatic pleats. The lower half featured a daring side slit extending up to the waist, paired with sheer black tights.
