South African comedian Trevor Noah will headline the third edition of UTH Festival. It takes place at the Grand Egyptian Museum on November 20 and 21. Organisers have not yet announced most of the speakers, so the lineup is still taking shape.
What Is UTH?

UTH is a youth-focused platform spanning media, community and live experiences. This year it introduces a new identity, logo, and visual direction. The annual gathering keeps the name UTH Festival.
The Theme: Work in Progress
The 2026 edition centres on the theme Work in Progress. It explores how young people keep evolving, experimenting and changing, instead of having everything figured out. As a result, the program leans toward learning in public.
Trevor Noah’s Role

Emmy-winning comedian and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah headlines the program. Making his debut appearance in Egypt on November 21, he will lead a live, moderated discussion on creative entrepreneurship and the creator economy. He will then take the stage at the Dubai Opera from November 25 to 29.
The Venue

The Grand Egyptian Museum has become one of Egypt’s biggest event spaces. It welcomed around four million visitors between its official opening in November 2025 and the end of August 2026, according to Tourism Ministry figures. Museum CEO Ahmed Ghoneim said foreign visitors made up 60 percent of attendance in July.
What’s Still to Come

While the full speaker lineup hasn’t been completely revealed, the festival has announced its first headliners. Joining the event is John Wick creator Derek Kolstad, alongside Loulou Khazen, founder of Nabesh—the region’s first freelance marketplace. Other notable speakers confirmed for this edition include Ahmed Hammouda, Eva Cavalli, Youssef Salem, Nayra Nassar, Hatem Dowidar, Peter Lewis, Shady Sherif, and Richie Akiva.
