Lebanese actress Cyrine Abdel Nour is taking on a new challenge with the series TIC TAC, which is set to stream on an Arab digital platform in early October.
The project marks Abdel Nour’s first venture into the micro-drama format, which features short episodes designed for digital platforms and mobile viewing.
Abdel Nour chose the project to explore this format, drawn to its suspenseful premise centered around a mysterious murder in which accounts conflict and narratives intertwine. Authorities launch an intensive investigation to uncover the truth, with secrets and hidden details gradually coming to light as the episodes unfold.
Abdel Nour portrays Tamara, a character surrounded by suspicion who becomes the prime suspect in the case. She finds herself in a tense confrontation with an Interpol officer, played by Anas Tayara, who attempts to unravel the complex mystery surrounding the case.
The series also stars Nahla Daoud and Mohamed Aqeel. It is written by Sarah Atallah and directed by Randa Alam.
Al Nisyan: Cyrine Abdel Nour’s Last Television Series
TIC TAC marks Cyrine Abdel Nour’s return to television after a two-year absence. Her last television series was Al Nisyan, which aired in 2024.
Al Nisyan unfolds as a social drama, following a couple living a happy and peaceful life whose world is shattered when their two children are kidnapped. Their lives are turned upside down as they embark on a desperate search for their children, doing everything in their power to find them.
The series stars Qais Sheikh Najib, Nada Abou Farhat, Yorgo Chalhoub, Carole El Hajj, and Fadi Abi Samra. It was written by Shadi Kiwane and directed by Al Fawaz Tanjour.
