Estée Lauder Is Back With Glimmer Parfum

Estée Lauder is coming full circle with Glimmer, an amber-floral eau de parfum with a gourmand twist, crafted by perfumers Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo, and Jean-Marc Chaillan of IFF, marking the brand’s first entry into the gourmand fragrance category. The scent opens with milk mousse, raspberry, orange blossom, and mandarin before moving into a heart of macaron, vanilla, rose, and cashmeran, then settling into a dry-down of amber, sandalwood, tonka bean, patchouli, and cedarwood. This warm, skin-close finish sits comfortably close to the body without ever becoming heavy. It is an unambiguously crowd-pleasing composition, and that is a deliberate choice; Estée Lauder is not making an experimental fragrance. It is making a blockbuster, in the tradition of White Linen, Pleasures, and Beautiful before it.

The Campaign and the Face

Hailee Steinfeld fronts the global campaign as an actress, singer, and multi-hyphenate cultural figure whose journey from young Oscar-nominated actress to accomplished recording artist mirrors the generational audience Estée Lauder is trying to reach with Glimmer.

The campaign will debut July 30th across TV, print, digital, in-store, and out-of-home

Why It Matters

Estée Lauder’s global brand president Justin Boxford was direct about the commercial ambition behind the launch: “We’re moving to a new territory and a new space for Estée Lauder. We actually have not played in gourmand notes before; it is a white space for the brand today.” Glimmer launches globally in August 2026, priced at $130 for 50ml and $160 for 100ml, available at key global retailers.
