Egyptian superstar Angham is set to make history this November. She will become the first Egyptian and Arab artist to perform at the Main Hall of the New Capital Opera House.
The highly anticipated concerts will take place on November 4 and 6. Both shows will be held at the City of Arts and Culture in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.
Two Sold-Out Nights for Angham
Originally, the concert was scheduled for November 4. However, overwhelming ticket demand led organizers to add a second date. According to event organizers, both performances have now sold out.
Titled A Rose at the Opera, the concerts will celebrate Egyptian Love Day. They will also mark a significant moment for Egypt’s growing cultural scene.
For the occasion, Angham will be joined by renowned maestro Hany Farahat. Together, they will perform alongside a 33-piece orchestra. The musical programme will feature some of her most beloved hits. Fans can also expect a special live experience, with arrangements created for the prestigious venue.
A New Chapter for Egypt’s Cultural Scene
The choice of location adds another layer of significance. The New Capital Opera House is part of Egypt’s ambitious City of Arts and Culture. The complex was designed to become a major destination for artistic performances. It also reflects the country’s efforts to strengthen its cultural presence.
Moreover, the event highlights Angham’s lasting influence across the Arab music scene. Her career spans decades, with a catalogue of songs loved by generations. From romantic ballads to powerful performances, she has maintained a strong connection with her audience.
The concerts also reflect a growing interest in large-scale musical productions across Egypt. In recent years, the country has welcomed more international artists and major cultural events. Meanwhile, local performers continue to attract audiences through ambitious live productions.
With both dates officially sold out, excitement continues to build. Angham’s performances are shaping up to be among November’s most anticipated music events in Egypt.
