Alana Hadid’s wedding to producer Ross Williams, held at Mohamed Hadid’s Los Angeles home, blended love, family, and Palestinian heritage in a heartfelt backyard celebration.
Alana Hadid, fashion designer and activist, known for her outspoken advocacy for Palestinians, and the eldest of the Hadid siblings, recently celebrated her marriage to Ross Williams, an Emmy-winning television producer and a mental health professional. The ceremony took place in an intimate backyard at her father, Mohamed Hadid’s, Los Angeles home. The event, held on October 18, coincided with the wedding anniversary of Williams’s parents, a date the couple chose for its personal significance.
Alana, 42, is a creative director for Watermelon Pictures and co-founder of fashion projects, including La Detresse. She is the eldest daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Mary Butler, and the older half-sister of models Gigi, Bella, Marielle, and Anwar Hadid.
Alana Hadid’s Vintage Bridal Look

For her wedding, the bride chose an archival Vivienne Westwood gown sourced from Tab Vintage. The long-sleeved dress, re-tailored to her frame, was paired with her mother’s amethyst earrings and a custom diamond-and-gold wedding band by Sofia Kaman. Her bouquet of California wildflowers carried a sentimental touch, her grandmother’s ring was fastened to the stems, and matching wildflowers were sewn into her veil.

As for the bridesmaids, sisters Gigi, Bella, and Marielle Hadid, all wore green dresses of their own choosing and went barefoot for the outdoor ceremony. Each wore Dorsey jewelry gifted by Alana. Their brother, Anwar Hadid, served as “man of honor.”
A Ceremony Rooted in Family and Heritage

The wedding took place outdoors in the lush garden of Mohamed Hadid’s estate. Hydrangeas, candles, and moss-filled arrangements decorated the ceremony space, designed by Melissa Andre Design Co. The couple exchanged vows they wrote themselves in a ceremony officiated by a close friend.
The bridal party walked down the aisle to the Palestinian song “Ya Tal3een” by Dana Salah, while Alana entered to Led Zeppelin’s “Thank You.” Alana included a message to Ross’s daughter, now her stepdaughter, as part of her vows.

Reflecting her Palestinian heritage, Alana ensured that the celebration highlighted Palestinian-owned brands. Guests were served espresso and matcha by Mokafe, as well as specialty cola from Drink Palestina. The bridal gift bags included olive green keffiyehs by Kuvrd. “It was extremely important to make sure that everyone kept in mind the fact that there are people in the world who are suffering,” Alana said, emphasizing her family’s cultural ties.
An Intimate Wedding Reception Under Candlelight
The reception, held under candlelight, featured a menu of grilled branzino, hanger steak, and eggplant parmigiana, followed by a half-chocolate, half-lemon meringue wedding cake from Pompadour Beverly Hills. The newlyweds shared their first dance to “No Machine” by Adrianne Lenker, followed by a father-daughter dance to The Beatles’ “Yesterday,” a nod to her father’s favorite song.

Later, guests joined the couple for an after-party at Petit Ermitage, where the festivities continued into the night. A pool party for friends and family followed the next day.
Alana Hadid and Ross Williams: A Modern Love Story
Hadid and Williams met on a dating app, where their connection formed over early morning coffee in Topanga, California. After three years together, Williams proposed in 2024 on a black-sand beach near Big Sur, presenting an amethyst ring that had belonged to his late mother, Janet.
The couple’s intimate and family-centered wedding reflected both their shared values and Alana’s appreciation for heritage and individuality. “I feel like we were surrounded by love the whole time,” she said of the day, which gathered guests from across the world, from Tunisia and Kuwait to Paris and Hawaii.
