The production company behind Al Aref, starring Ahmed Ezz and Carmen Bsaibes, has announced plans for a new installment of the film, five years after the release of the first part, which achieved significant success in cinemas.
The production team is set to reveal the full details and cast of the new installment by the end of this week, with production scheduled to begin immediately after Ahmed Ezz wraps filming on another movie.
Set against a backdrop of suspense and action, Al Aref explores the battle of minds and the world of cybercrime through the character of Younes, played by Ahmed Ezz. A brilliant and highly skilled hacker, Younes manages to infiltrate one of the largest banks online, before being exposed by security authorities, who recruit him to help protect national security and combat cyberattacks.

The story escalates as Younes faces off against a professional hacker operating outside Egypt and working for armed terrorist organizations, intensifying the conflict between the two as events unfold.
The film previously starred Ahmed Fahmy, Carmen Bsaibes, Mostafa Khater, Mahmoud Hemida, and Rakeen Saad. It was written by Mohamed Sayed Bashir and directed by Ahmed Alaa El Deeb.
