In a new cinematic experience, Egyptian actor Tarek Lotfy takes on a different challenge as the star of the upcoming horror film “12 O’Clock.”
The Egyptian actor has begun filming the project at one of Cairo’s studios, coinciding with the launch of a dedicated promotional campaign for the film. “12 O’Clock” is expected to be released in the coming months once production is completed.
Alongside Tarek Lotfy, the film stars Rana Raeis, Mostafa Emad, Islam Khaled, Ahmed Abu Zeid, Haitham Zidan, Mostafa El-Banna, and Reem Raafat. The film is written by Haitham Zidan, directed by Mohamed Bakir, and produced by Alaa Lashin and AH Media Production.
“12 O’Clock” unfolds within a psychological horror, thriller, and mystery setting, following its protagonist as he finds himself caught up in a series of complex events and situations he struggles to escape. As the story unfolds, secrets are gradually revealed.
Tarek Lotfy returns to the world of horror and mystery with “12 O’Clock,” seven years after starring in “122.” The film follows a young man and woman on a fight for survival inside a hospital where a doctor is involved in organ trafficking, as they attempt to escape his grasp amid a series of escalating events.
“122” also starred Ahmed Dawoud, Amina Khalil, Ahmed El-Fishawy, and Mohamed Mamdouh. The film was written by Salah El-Geiny and directed by Yasser El-Yasiry.
Ramadan 2027: Tarek Lotfy and Ghada Adel to Co-Lead “Baad Nos El Leil”
Meanwhile, Tarek Lotfy has signed on to star in a new series currently titled “Baad Nos El Leil,” alongside actress Ghada Adel. The series is set to air during Ramadan 2027.
The 15-episode series unfolds in a social setting infused with suspense and thrills. The production company is currently finalizing the rest of the cast, ahead of filming scheduled to begin next November.
