After years of requests, Karen Wazen is expanding her signature eyewear universe with six new styles designed specifically for men, launching online and in stores across the UAE and Lebanon. For a brand that has spent eight years building one of the region’s most loyal female followings through accessible luxury eyewear, the move into menswear is less a pivot than a natural extension, another room in the same house, built with the same instincts that made the women’s line work.
The Collection and the Campaign

Six styles, each in three to four colourways, make up the debut lineup, designed in close relation to the brand’s existing aesthetic rather than departing from it, giving the men’s collection an immediately recognisable connection to everything Karen Wazen has built since 2018. The campaign face is Elias Bakhazi, known within the brand as Luch, Karen’s husband and co-founder, who left an eighteen-year career in global markets, including a long stretch at HSBC in 2020, to run the business alongside her full-time.

The design process traced back to one question Karen kept returning to throughout development: “Would Luch wear this?” Putting him in front of the camera for the launch is the most honest version of that question, answered publicly, in campaign imagery, by the man who has been part of building the brand since its earliest days.
