An intimate supper brought together Cairo’s cultural and creative circles for a celebration of Givenchy Parfums’ latest fragrance launches, fine dining, and timeless St. Regis rituals.

There are evenings designed to be remembered long after the final course. At The St. Regis Cairo, the annual Midnight Supper became one such occasion. This year, the hotel partnered with Givenchy Parfums to celebrate the Egyptian launch of L’Interdit Elixir and Gentleman Society Réserve Privée.

The invitation-only gathering welcomed an influential mix of Cairo’s distinguished guests. Celebrities, ambassadors, entrepreneurs, and leading personalities came together for an evening shaped by fragrance, gastronomy, and music. Throughout the celebration, Givenchy’s distinctive identity met the hotel’s signature approach to personalized hospitality.

An Elegant Beginning at the Crystal Hall

The evening opened with a cocktail reception in the Crystal Hall. Guests moved between interactive experiences while a live pianist set a relaxed, sophisticated mood. One highlight was a miniature Bloody Mary bar, bringing the iconic St. Regis ritual into the celebration.

The Bloody Mary holds a special place in the hotel’s history. First created at The St. Regis New York in 1934, the cocktail became a signature ritual across the brand’s properties. Its presence added a familiar touch to an evening built around thoughtful details and distinctive experiences.

Meanwhile, Givenchy Parfums’ fragrance identity shaped the atmosphere. Guests were invited to explore the Maison’s fragrance universe, from the exclusive scents of La Collection Particulière to the sophistication of Gentleman and the iconic L’Interdit, with a special spotlight on the latest addition to the collection, L’Interdit Elixir.

Paying homage to the heritage and traditions of The St. Regis, the reception also featured thoughtfully curated activations inspired by the brand’s history. The 1904 Photobooth Club offered guests a nostalgic experience inspired by the lavish Gilded Age gatherings hosted by the brand’s founder, John Jacob Astor. Meanwhile, Caroline’s Garden Cart had guests create their own floral bouquets, celebrating Caroline Astor’s appreciation for flowers and delicate floral arrangements.

A Six-Course Dinner in the Astor Grand Ballroom

The celebration then moved into the Astor Grand Ballroom. For the occasion, the space took on a more intimate character. Warm tones and flowing silky drapes softened the grand setting. Together, they created an elegant backdrop for the evening’s main experience.

Guests enjoyed a six-course seated dinner, served in synchronized fashion. This carefully coordinated service reflected one of The St. Regis experience’s defining details. Each course arrived as part of a seamless progression, allowing the culinary experience to unfold with precision.

The dinner also highlighted the hotel’s approach to gastronomy. Its attention to presentation, timing, and personalized service complemented the evening’s wider atmosphere. The result brought together the pleasures of fine dining and the intimacy of a private celebration.

Jazz, Fragrance, and the Art of Celebration

As the evening progressed, live music took center stage. Jazz legend Okasha delivered a captivating performance, adding warmth and character to the celebration. His appearance brought the night to a memorable close, giving the gathering a distinctly musical finish.

Beyond the individual moments, the collaboration reflected a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and sensory experiences. Givenchy Parfums brought its world of fragrance into the setting. The St. Regis Cairo, meanwhile, drew on its signature butler service, culinary expertise, and attention to detail.

Ultimately, the Annual Midnight Supper offered more than a product launch. It created a setting where fragrance, hospitality, food, and music came together naturally. For The St. Regis Cairo, it also reinforced the hotel’s place as a destination for exclusive gatherings and bespoke celebrations.
