MDLBEAST is bringing electronic music back to Jeddah this month. MDLBEAST returns to ONYX Arena for two nights on Thursday, October 29, and Friday, October 30. Eleven international and regional artists will play house, techno, melodic, and underground sets. Together, the nights show how far Saudi Arabia’s club scene has travelled in a few years.
Night One: Thursday, October 29

The opening night brings together BLOND:ISH, Boris Brejcha and Jimi Jules. Saudi DJs Baloo and Vinyl Mode join them. Brejcha is the German DJ known for his joker mask and high-tech minimal sound. He has previously played Coachella and Tomorrowland. Jimi Jules is a Swiss DJ with a melodic take on house. Meanwhile, BLOND:ISH brings a house-driven sound.
Night Two: Friday, October 30

The second night shifts toward melodic techno and house. Argy, Dennis Cruz, Loco Dice and Steve Angello headline. Saudi artists Blacky and HiFi complete the lineup. In other words, the bill spans Argy’s melodic productions, Loco Dice’s underground sound, and Angello’s house background.
The Venue: ONYX Arena
MDLBEAST unveiled ONYX Arena as part of Jeddah Season. The venue holds more than 12,000 people. It sits at King Abdulaziz International Airport. Last summer, the arena hosted MDLBEAST’s series with the Black Eyed Peas, Central Cee, and Metro Boomin. As a result, this booking continues an established run rather than testing a new room.
What It Says About Saudi Nightlife
Industry coverage reads the lineup as a signal. A Jeddah arena booking Brejcha and Loco Dice on consecutive nights suggests the market is maturing. In other words, underground artists can now route through the Kingdom, not only headline-driven EDM acts. MDLBEAST itself launched in 2019 with the Soundstorm festival in Riyadh. Since then, it has expanded into record labels and venues.
The shows also come in a broader context. Saudi Arabia has spent years building a mainstream live-entertainment scene under its Vision 2030 programme. At the same time, the calendar has shifted. MDLBEAST cancelled Soundstorm 2026, which was due on December 3 and 4 at Banban Grounds in Riyadh. The organisers gave no reason and promised a stronger 2027 edition. Several other regional events have also been postponed or cancelled this autumn.
