Twenty years after their first collaboration, Stella McCartney and H&M are back for their second-ever designer partnership. The full collection drops on May 7th in selected stores across the region and online, and it is exactly what a two-decade reunion should be: confident, referential, and genuinely desirable.

The Pieces

Stella McCartney x H&M – Adwoa Aboah

The collection is built around McCartney’s 25-year archive, pulling her current signatures, oversized shirting, sharp tailoring, sweeping trenches, into conversation with early-career hits: bejewelled prints, slogan tops, and a studded white tee reading ‘Rock Royalty’ that feels as relevant now as it would have in 2005. A long white gown with a cape-like sleeve that loops into the hem is the collection’s most striking single piece.

The Accessories

The Falabella chain, McCartney’s most enduring motif, runs throughout, appearing at necklines, on loafers, and across six accessory styles, including shoulder bags, giant totes, and a chocolate-toned chain-strap bag.

The Campaign

Materials are, as expected from McCartney, considered to be recycled content, organic cotton, RWS-certified wool, and feedstock derived from industrial corn and recycled vegetable oil. The campaign, shot in London by Sam Rock, stars Renée Rapp, Angelina Kendall, and Adwoa Aboah under the tagline “Stella”.

Where to Shop

In the region, the collection launches at Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates in the UAE, The Avenues Mall Phase 3 in Kuwait, Vendome Mall in Qatar, and Red Sea Mall and Riyadh Park Mall in Saudi Arabia.
