The stars and creators of Fifty/Fifty gathered for a special screening of the series at a Cairo hotel, ahead of its exclusive premiere on Yango Play starting Thursday.

The screening brought together the series’ stars, including Kinda Alloush, Yasmina El Abd, Hazem Ehab, Moataz Hesham, and Hamza Diab, along with director Ahmed Abdel Wahab and producer Sally Waly.

The event also featured a surprise appearance by singer Hesham Abbas, who performs the series’ theme song. Lawyer Nehad Abu El Qomsan was also in attendance, alongside a number of guests.

Comedy and Social Drama: A Look at the Story of Fifty/Fifty

Fifty/Fifty blends comedy and social drama, exploring family relationships, the pressures of working life, and financial challenges before its characters unexpectedly find themselves drawn into the world of fraud, leading to a series of situations that combine comedy and suspense.

The story centers on Rania, played by Kinda Alloush, a law graduate who decided to step away from work to focus on her family. However, a sudden change in her circumstances pushes her to reassess her life and seek a fresh start.

As financial pressures begin to mount, Rania finds herself involved in illegal activities and surrounded by an unlikely group of people who help her navigate her new reality and regain control of her life.

Yango Play previously announced that Fifty/Fifty would stream exclusively on the platform starting Thursday, with the first three episodes released at launch, followed by two new episodes every Thursday.

The series also stars Entesar, Heba Abdel Aziz, and Mohamed Abdo. It is written by Amr Abu Zeid and Ahmed Hesham and directed by Ahmed Abdel Wahab.
