The award was presented during the GITEX GLOBAL 2025 event at the Dubai World Trade Centre, highlighting a successful public-private partnership that is redefining the future of air travel.

By leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence and facial recognition technology, the project allows travelers to move through the airport seamlessly, without the need to repeatedly present physical travel documents like passports or boarding passes.
This system enables what is effectively a “walk-through” experience. Passengers pre-registered for the service can pass through designated corridors in a matter of seconds, their identity verified automatically by AI. This eliminates traditional bottlenecks, reduces queue times, and creates a smooth, human-centric journey that feels more like a red-carpet treatment than a standard security and immigration process.
During the award ceremony, Lieutenant General Al Marri highlighted how the project shows that government and technology companies can work together to prioritize people. He linked the initiative to the GITEX theme, “Digital Services… for an Easier Life.” He noted that the partnership with Emaratech has helped introduce solutions that make traveling through Dubai smoother and safer.
