As part of the Novotel Cairo Airport Pink Day initiative, the hotel partnered with Baheya Foundation to promote early detection and breast cancer prevention.
Cairo — October 22, 2025
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Novotel Cairo Airport hosted a “Pink Day” event on Tuesday in collaboration with the Baheya Foundation, a leading Egyptian organization supporting women affected by breast cancer.
Held in the hotel’s garden, the gathering brought together hotel staff, known within Accor Hotels as Heartist team members, who dressed in pink and wore pink ribbon pins to show solidarity with breast cancer patients and survivors.
Awareness Through Education
The event included an informative session led by a Baheya Foundation doctor, who discussed breast cancer symptoms, early detection methods, and preventive measures.
Participants said the talk offered valuable and practical information that helped them better understand how to monitor their health and support awareness efforts within their communities.
A member of the Baheya Foundation team described the collaboration as “inspiring,” noting that the hotel’s organization and attention to detail reflected a genuine commitment to the cause.
Community and Commemoration
The event concluded with a pink-themed coffee break featuring a variety of sweet and savory items, as well as a cake-cutting ceremony that marked the end of the day’s activities.
Group photographs captured the moment, including images of the Heartist team and representatives from the Baheya Foundation forming a pink ribbon, a symbol of unity and awareness.
“This Pink Day was a true reflection of our Heartists’ dedication and commitment to supporting meaningful causes,” said the hotel’s general manager.
