Women-led Startup Solumar, Crowned Winner of SAIA 2023

Solumar, a women-led UAE-based startup has been crowned the winner of (SAIA) 2023 a Startup Accelerator Program Hosted by Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP).

Solumar, a women-led UAE-based startup that provides a novel air and gas filtering technology, has been crowned the winner of the Sharjah Advanced Industry Accelerator (SAIA) 2023, a startup accelerator program hosted by Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP).
As the winner of SAIA 2023, Solumar will receive access to funding opportunities, networking, regional experts and resources, and an ecosystem that fosters innovation.
SAIA 2023 is designed to assist local and regional entrepreneurs as well as global start-ups to grow their startups, so they can access the advanced industry landscape across the region and pilot and scale their solutions globally. The program is aligned with the UAE Policy for Advanced Industries, launched by the Ministry of Energy and Industry, which aims to develop futuristic, advanced technologies and clean and sustainable industries in the country.

SAIA 2023 in a nutshell:
The SRTIP’s yearly SAIA program offers complete coaching and corporate matchmaking to companies, going above and beyond typical accelerator programs. It serves as a middleman, introducing entrepreneurs to possible backers and putting together powerful pilots and demos to highlight their creative solutions. The goal of this year’s edition was to get the startups to proactively support the global sustainability agenda by supporting the UAE’s Green Agenda 2030 and COP28.
