In a significant moment for Jordan, Queen Rania was recently awarded the Grand Cordon of Al Nahda by her husband, King Abdullah II. While the award celebrated Queen Rania’s personal achievements, it was mainly meant to highlight and symbolize the enduring partnership between the Queen and King which has helped drive the country forward. During the ceremony, Queen Rania wore a stunning long black dress which was accented by a striking black and red checkered neckline, exuding elegance and class.

Queen Rania expressed her gratitude for receiving the award. In a post on her Instagram account, she emphasized that she was most grateful for being able to stand by the king’s side. Commending Abdullah II for his strength, vision, and principles, Queen Rania awarded the king in turn with strong words of praise and reaffirmed her dedication to support his vision for Jordan.
Queen Rania is an excellent wife and mother, but she has also achieved many exceptional things beyond that. As an author and an advocate for the world’s children, Queen Rania has published a children’s book highlighting important social and personal issues like diversity and friendship, leading several initiatives for education such as the Campaign for Education which highlighted the issue of unprivileged children and particularly girls who could not receive a formal education, and met with UNICEF to discuss the safety of children of Gaza. She has received several rewards for her effort, among them the YouTube Visionary Award and Glamour magazine’s Woman of the Year. Throughout her tenure, she has used her position to contribute to the social welfare of both Jordanians and disadvantaged groups abroad.
